HDP&DBP co-chairs jailed in Muş

MUŞ – Detained in the house raids in Muş five people, including journalist İdris Sayılgan and the HDP and DBP co-chairs, have been jailed.

On October 17, six people, including Dicle News Agency (DİHA) reporter İdris Sayılgan and the HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) co-chairs were taken into custody in house raids in Muş. Six people were sent to the court after the procedures were completed in the Police Headquarters. The DBP Muş Provincial Co-chair Hatice Şeker, the HDP co-chair Ayşe Söylemez, MEYA-DER co-chairs Medeni Işık and Çiçek Tutuş and DİHA reporter İdris Sayılgan were sent to the court for arrest for “being a member of an [illegal] organization” and the five people have been arrested and sent to Muş Prison on the same ground.
