AMED - In Diyarbakır province's Lice district, where the government has announced military zones and a curfew, soldiers have now set forested areas on fire.

Last night, the governor of Diyarbakır province, Turkey announced a curfew and a list of military zones in the Lice district. Soldiers have opened fire on forests and vineyards in the area, starting a forest fire that is now spreading.

Internet and phone access has also been cut in the area.
