BURSA - Nuray Koçan, a student at Kocaeli University killed in the Suruç massacre, was buried in Mudanya, Turkey yesterday.

Nuray was a law student at Kocaeli University. Her funeral took place in the town of Mudanya, located in Bursa province. Officials from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) were present for the funeral, as were representatives from the Mudanya Alevi community and the educators' union Eğitim Sen.

After the funeral, a tent was set up for condolences for Nuray's family.
