MUŞ - The city of Muş, Turkey held funerals for three young people--Serhat Devrim, Med Ali Barutçu and Mücahit Erol--killed in the Suruç bombing on Monday.

On Monday, a bomb targeted a group of youth activists heading to Kobanê, killing 32. Among them were three natives of the mainly Kurdish city of Muş. Yesterday evening, a massive crowd gathered in Muş as the young victims' bodies arrived in the city.

"Let our enemies know: they can't get rid of us by killing us," said Med Ali's father, Ali Rıza Barutçu.

Emine Ayna, general co-chair of the Kurdistan-based Democratic Regions Party (DBP), also spoke at the funeral.

"We've sent the bodies of martyrs home to every corner of this country. After this, there are no words left to say," said Emine. "These families haven't even buried their children yet but they're saying: peace, freedom for Kurdistan, freedom for Öcalan," said Emine, referring to the jailed leader of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
