NEWS CENTER – Although election results are not final, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) looks to be sending 31 women candidates to Parliament. The party ran a 48% women list, according to its principle of gender parity.

The women representatives range from defenders of headscarf rights to socialists and storied feminists to veterans of the Kurdish women's struggle. The female MPs are as follows:
