HDP likely passes Turkey's electoral threshold

AMED – It's almost official: the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has passed Turkey's electoral threshold.
With a majority of ballot boxes reporting, the HDP has passed Turkey's high electoral threshold. The party will be entering Parliament for the first time in a historic victory.
In the provinces of Northern Kurdistan, the HDP has won 85% of the votes. The party came in first in 14 cities.
The HDP will likely run 11 candidates from Istanbul, where with 95.43% of ballot boxes reporting the results are AKP 41.25%, CHP 29.33% and HDP 12.32%.
With 75.59% of ballot boxes counted in Ankara, the votes are 42.77% to the AKP, 28.89% to the CHP and 12.32% for the HDP. These numbers have the HDP showing one MP from Ankara.
Izmir has 82.38% of ballot boxes counted. The HDP is looking at a likely two MPs from Izmir. The votes are 46% for the CHP, 26.57% for the AKP, 14.03% for the MHP and 9.9% for the HDP.
Bursa, with 74.32% of ballot boxes counted, went 44.12% to AKP, 28.13% to CHP, 17.95% to MHP and 5.04% to HDP. This gives the HDP one MP.
In Mersin, 87% of ballot boxes are counted. The votes are 29% CHP, 25.93% AKP, 25.12% MHP and 17.58% HDP. The HDP will show two MPs from Mersin.
In Adana, 74% of ballot boxes are counted, with votes at 31.27% AKP, 29% CHP, 24.86% MHP and 11.52% HDP. This makes for one HDP MP.
With 87% of ballot boxes reporting in Antalya, the votes are 35.73% AKP, 32.09% CHP, 22.52% MHP and 6.54% HDP. This means two MPs for the HDP.
