AKP supporters have attacked observers and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) supporters at a school in Muş province. In the town of Karaağaçlı, there was an incident of mass voting for the AKP. When HDP provincial officials and legal observers at the polls reacted to the mass voting, the relatives of the AKP candidate for the district attacked the HDP. There was no security at the school.
In Van province, an AKP assembly member named Barış Durmuş destroyed two vehicles belonging to HDP members. A child was inside one of the vehicles, but escaped unharmed. Two were wounded in the attack.
In the Ceyhan district of Adana, unknown persons attacked the HDP elections communications office with guns late last night ahead of the election. None died or were wounded in the attack.
There are reports that several flights leaving airports in Istanbul departed early by 20-45 minutes each. Hundreds of voters who were boarding the flights to vote in the provinces where they are registered are now unlikely to be able to vote. All of the flights that left early were headed to provinces in Kurdistan. There is tension between travelers and police ongoing at the airport.
Also in Istanbul, ballots in several regions of the province have been reported as being extremely confusing and have led to a large number of invalidated votes in Istanbul.
