ZONGULDAK – In the Black Sea city of Zonguldak, Turkey, an amateur boxer defended herself from a harasser and sent her assailant to the hospital.

G.A., in her third year of high school in Zonguldak, was walking home with her mother when she was approached by a 41-year-old man who had verbally harassed her. G.A., who perhaps unbeknownst to her attacker is an amateur student of boxing, punched him. The harasser had to be taken to the hospital.

Police took G.A. to the police station. She said that she filed a complaint there against her harasser.
