TIL TEMIR – In the Rojava city of Til Temir, an environmental cleanup campaign has begun in the wake of months of Daesh attacks.

The Til Temir municipality called for the campaign, which is seeing strong citizen participation in the city's neighborhoods. Since Daesh attacks terrorized Til Temir for approximately three months, explained Til Temir co-mayor Almaza Emîn, there has been no cleaning in the city. The environmental cleanup campaign aims to bring the city back to its former state.

"Until our city is clean, this campaign will continue," said Evram Soro, of the Til Temir Ecology Committee.
