HEWLÊR – Iraqi parliamentarian Alia Naseef has obtained official documents providing proof of the relationship between Turkey's ruling AKP and Daesh.
Aliahas announced that documents that have reached her have proven claims that Turkey has both officially and secretly sponsored and aided Daesh. She called for Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to launch an investigation into ministers who signed agreements with Turkish companies.
"These documents demonstrate that the Turkish state aided Daesh gangs in many ways, both direct and indirect," said Alia. "We must not stay silent in the face of these facts. Our government needs to develop trade, diplomatic and political measures to punish Turkey." Alia has called for an end to the 17 million dollar yearly trade between Iraq and Turkey, which she said has served as a vehicle for Turkey to aid Daesh.
"Turkey is benefiting from our country," said Alia. "By way of us, it is party to the spilling of our citizens' blood and aid to Daesh gangs. In the case of any country facing this kind of approach and policy, the country in question would immediately end relations with such a neighbor."
