TIL TEMIR – YPJ fighter Rojbîn Arjîn, originally from the Kurdish city of Diyarbakır (Amed) in Northern Kurdistan, said she knows that the struggle for freedom that she traveled to Rojava to defend will win against Daesh attacks.

Since the Daesh attacks on Rojava, the amount of people volunteering for the YPG and YPJ from Kurdistan and around the world has increased. One of these volunteers is Rojbîn Arjîn.

"I went to Rojava after Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the Kurdish people, called on people to support the Rojava revolution," she explained, "because I'm in love with a free and dignified life."

After she joined the YPJ, Rojbîn had a six-month training period. She then headed to the front, where she fought in the defense of Til Hemîs and Til Birak. She is now positioned on the front in Til Temir, where for the last few months Daesh attacks have been intense.

Rojbîn struggles with ongoing health problems, but she says that despite this, her morale is high. She is sure that the Rojava revolution will succeed.
