Daesh attacks displace 100,000 in Anbar Province

NEWS CENTER – As the Iraqi army and Daesh continue fighting in Anbar Province of Iraq, 100,000 people were forced to abandon their homes in just two days, according to Iraqi officials.
Daesh'srecent attacks on Anbar Province, the largest province in Iraq, have led to a worsening humanitarian crisis, with massive amounts of Anbar residents forced to flee. XalidRawî, of the Iraq Migrants Committee, reports that the migrants are facing difficult conditions. 17,000 refugee families are waiting outside Baghdad, hoping to be let in, according to Xalid.
Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq called for help meeting the refugees' urgent need for food.
