Two children dead in Şırnak

ŞIRNEX – In the city of Şırnak, explosives left behind by state forces detonated, leaving two children dead and four other children seriously wounded.

From March 14 until today, Turkish state forces have imposed 24-hour curfews, destruction, and depredation on the city of Şırnak. Today, an explosion occurred in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood. According to initial reports, two children were killed and four seriously wounded by the explosion. The explosion apparently occurred when children played with military equipment left behind in the rubble. The wounded children were transported to the Şırnak State Hospital. Notably, there has been no investigation at the site of the explosion.
