WAN – Co-mayor of Saray Municipality, Zilan Aldatmaz has been held in custody since two days.

Co-mayor of Saray Municipality, Zilan Aldatmaz was detained at the entrance of the Saray district of Van two days ago by special operation police. She has been held in Van Anti-terror Branch (TEM) since then. Zilan hasn’t been allowed to see her lawyers and the reason for her detention is unknown.

Zilan is expected to be allowed to see her lawyers on Monday.
