AMED – Police conducted house raids and detained nearly 40 members of the Education and Science Workers Union (Eğitim-SEN) in Diyarbakır.

The oppression on Eğitim Sen members (teachers), who have been suspended from their duties through Statutory Decree, have been increasing. In Diyarbakır, police conducted house raids in the morning and detained nearly 40 members of Eğitim Sen. As the reason for their detention is not yet known, a woman, who has recently given a birth, has been reported to be among them.
