QAMIŞLO - Free press workers in Qamişlo began "newsvigil" at the border of Qamişlo-Nusaybin to protest the attacks of Turkish state forces in Nusaybin. Turkish soldiers opened fire on the journalists.

Free press workers, who gathered in the Qamişlo city of Cizîr Canton, began "newsvigil" on April 3 with the motto; "True news from Nusaybin, no silence," to draw attention to the attacks on Nusaybin people with tanks and bombs. Third press team took over the vigil. When the journalists held the vigil, Turkish soldiers opened fire on them by targeting.

No one has been wounded or killed in the attacks of Turkish soldiers. Journalists have continued to hold the vigil at the border.
